Dr. Surjeet Singh specializes in the medical and surgical management of complicated eye disease. Dr. Singh underwent a rigorous ophthalmic surgical residency training at LA County Drew Hospital in South Central Los Angeles under the direct supervision of internationally recognized eye surgeons from the UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute. Even as a junior resident, Dr. Singh was awarded the M. Roy Wilson Award for Outstanding Medical and Surgical Ophthalmology Resident of the Year. He graduated as the Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at State University of New York, Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Singh has also completed a specialized one year Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship where he received an Award for Excellence in Fellowship training. He specializes in “no stich, no patch” Cataract surgery with advanced lenses such as RESTOR, REZOOM and Crystalens. He also specializes in LASIK and bladeless laser vision correction for near sightedness, far sightedness and astigmatism. He is among a rare group of surgeons that offer Implantable Collamer Lens placement for extremely high myopic patients for whom laser vision correction is not an option. His expertise also includes corneal transplant surgery, pterygium surgery, cosmetic and non cosmetic botox injections and specialized glaucoma laser surgeries.
